Apple has approved a Paypal mobile payment solution that works across different applications on iPhone. What this will mean is travelers will soon be able to pay for goods and services from within a wide variety of applications on iPhone within Paypal. Ditto for Android phones.
The next phase of development for tourism business apps will be to integrate Paypal payments; making it easy for mobile phone users to pay for tourism services from the palm of their hand.
Frankly, I’m not sure why more restaurants haven’t offered diners the option of paying their tab using the existing Paypal app. Seems like a no-brainer to me.

Facebook (F*c****k) has an idea of permission that goes a lot like this.
“It’s better to beg forgiveness than ask permission!”
Facebook Breaches Customers Trust
When it comes to my privacy and my data, Facebook should not have permission to share my data with Facebook business partners at Facebook’s whim. I should not have to opt out of sharing my data. I should be invited to choose to share my data if I so wish.
Facebook shifting its business model without the permission of customers is a blatant breach of trust.

In addition to the changes to Facebook re: “Like” vs “Become a Fan of” Mark Zuckerberg (*ucker****) and his team have made users choose to opt out of making my public information available to Facebook selected businesses when I first arrive on their websites. Facebook has put a positive spin on the privacy changes highlighting the value of sharing your data with your Facebook friends at the same time as letting the business partners have access to your data. Knowing Facebook, the last thing I want to do is leave this doorway open for Facebook to add partners at their leisure, opening up my data to anyone they want to share it with.
Facebook has sold access to my data to its business partners and I have chosen to opt out.
