Great advice for those who have the time to test the SEO and eye catching response to their headlines. Certainly a lot easier to get it right the first time when using a multiple upload service such as Tubemogul.

Hi Todd,
It is a good idea to distribute and test with Youtube before you use Tubemogul.

Youtube allows you to change the title as many times as you like so you can test and determine what headlines attracts viewers, when you have a winning headline you can use it throughout the other video networks knowing that it is highly likely that is going to be eye catching to your market.

The analytics in Youtube is also fantastic for monitoring points of interest or abandonment. If you see that a segment in your video has a high abandonment, you can edit it and try again to increase viewing time and exposure of your brand.

Youtube also allows you to add keyword tags and more importantly you can literally insert a full article in your description that can be focused around the keywords that you want your video to appear for in search engines. This will help search engine results in a big way!

After all the testing is done, load it up to Tubemogul and distribute it to the world knowing that is going to produce awesome results!

I've been reading your blog since the beginning of the year and find your posts very interesting and thought provoking. The opportunities provided by the internet for tourism are so exciting and I'm always interested when I hear people describe new developments as passing fads. Ican still remember when I was Marketing Director for the London Tourist Board trying to convince my colleagues that we should invest in a website and being told that it would be a poor investment. Needless to say I did convince them eventually and, as they say, the rest is history!
I am also interested in the work you are doing in the experiential tousim in Canada and am working on a couple of initiatives in the UK to develop creative tourism.
Will enjoy reading what you have to say in the future!
