Alright, I’ll admit I laughed a few months back when I heard Oprah talking about moving her presence to Youtube…..
But I’m hoping O’s big entrance into the online media landscape will inspire or at least alert those of us in the tourism industry who are yet to embrace multimedia and Web 2.0 social networking that these technologies are easy to use and powerful. If Half a million Oprah fans are inspired to use these tools to connect with O, aren’t there people hoping to connect with you!
Oprah launched a 10 part online learning experience with Eckhart Tolle that had over half a million people simultaneously tuning in over Skype! And…. participating in the program via Skype chat. The video lessons are available on ITunes after the live event has concluded.
